Here we were working on our project for
the year 2000 - a Covered Bridge across the creek running beside the Homestead.
Three generations of
Parkers are shown working on the bridge. Covered bridges stand as a tribute to
our heritage. A heritage that has stood strong, and secure, and served us well.
PARKER'S BRIDGE is a salute to the bridges of days gone by.
The Mayor of the Homestead
also had a hand in building. The bridge is used for wagon rides during the
Homestead Festival.
